I'm a rising high school senior from Atlanta, GA. This summer, I'm going on a trip to Beijing, PRC. The trip is a scholarship opportunity offered by the US State Department, by an agency called NSLI-Y. I'll be spending 6 weeks in Wangjing, Beijing, PRC, completely paid for by the Chinese government. I'll be detailing my learning experiences and misfortunes and triumphs in real-time, from 28 June to 7 August 2009.
I particularly like to hear about the people you are meeting from China. Do you talk with them in Mandarin? Do they speak English? How well? What to they tell you they think about America and Americans? What do they think about Barack Obama?
